We know we are different from other ticketing companies, particularly when it comes to our business model. Please see below for our most frequently asked questions:
How much does the App cost?
Sell Tickets for Wix is a pay-monthly subscription service. You can view our price and features in the Wix App Marketplace here.
We don’t charge any per-ticket fees – meaning we will never take a percentage of your revenue based on how many tickets you sell.
To accept payment from your customers, you will need a PayPal or Stripe account. Both are free to set up and we will give you the appropriate links when you sign up. Your customers will not need a PayPal or Stripe account to purchase tickets from your box office – both payment processors accept credit/debit cards.
You really don’t charge any per-ticket fees / booking fees?
We have absolutely no per-ticket fees (also known as booking fees).
This means we don’t take a slice every time you sell a ticket, like many other ticketing systems. Note that PayPal and Stripe fees will still apply for processing money. You can see a comparison of fees and payment methods here.
Can I try it for free?
Yes, you get a 7 day free trial. Add the app to your page and start using it. No credit card is required.
How long does the free trial last?
The free trial lasts 7 days.
At this point we will send you an email asking you to upgrade your account. If you would like to start your subscription early, please go to Settings->Upgrade
Are there any ongoing commitments or contracts with your subscriptions?
Nope! You can upgrade and downgrade at any time.
This means that when you do not have an event live, you can change to the free version.
Where can I find my invoices?
You can view and download your invoices by navigating to ‘Billing and Payments’ on your wix account. Full guide here
Can I use your service alongside ticket agencies?
Yes, absolutely.
